Forecasting of CO2 emissions in the future and proposal of ways to reduce the emissions by analyzing the top contributors.

The training + research program is designed to give students the necessary skills in Data Analysis using python while exposing them to the world of research. This six-week program consists of a mentor-guided project for a complete practical experience. The students will start with the basics of programming and will move on to learn the python libraries and machine learning models used by analysts worldwide.

Using python, plot a map of the world indicating where the world’s emissions are coming. Identify the top contenders for emissions and propose ways so that those emissions can be reduced.
Forecasting atmospheric CO2: Creating Time series forecasting models
Work with datasets to apply time series forecasting on atmospheric CO2 concentration data.
Meet Your Mentor
Dr. Geetha Prakash has a PhD in Optical Communications from NITK Surathkal, and is currently Country Programs Officer at TOOOPLE , a Virtual Projects Company. Her role includes Mentoring student teams to execute projects in accordance with industry standards, work with the company advisors in firming up certification programs and Delivering and improving NOCN(UK) Certification Programs She has studied Sustainable Business Strategies from Harvard Business School(Online) and completed a PG Diploma in Environmental Law jointly offered by from National Law University, Delhi and World Wildlife fund. She is an IBM certified Data Science Professional and has completed several certifications in Project Management including PMP Certification and Financial Markets from Yale University. She is currently pursuing Master of Business Laws from National Law School, Bangalore. As an active researcher, she has several papers in National and International Journals and Conferences. She has been a reviewer and Chair at International Conferences and has delivered several talks and lectures in India and abroad. Her interests include Sustainable businesses, Project management, renewable energy, optical communication, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data analysis and visualization using Python.
